MABA Young Professionals Group Summer Social

Pontoon Porch Cruise

Spend an afternoon on Lake Monona with the MABA Young Professionals Group aboard Pontoon Porch, a two-level floating boat designed like a screened-in lakeside porch. It’s a relaxed, social way to enjoy the water with comfortable seating, music, and a full bathroom on board.

You bring your sunscreen and shades, and we'll take care of your food and drinks, so you can focus on connecting with others and enjoying the lake.

Event Details

• July 14 | 3:00–5:00 PM

• $50 per person | Limited to 30 spots (After 30 registrations are paid for, new registrations will automatically update to the free events only)

• Arrival: Law Park, south of Monona Terrace

• Beer, seltzers, sodas, waters and snacks on the boat

Lakeside Intermission

After the cruise, we’ll have a casual break and walk to One Social food court (about 10 minutes) for food and drinks before returning to Law Park for the evening event.

MadCity Ski Team Practice Viewing Party

Wrap up the day with a FREE community event right on Lake Monona. No ticket, no cost, just show up and enjoy an evening on the water with friends and community. You do NOT have to attend Pontoon Porch to join the ski team viewing party. 

We’ll gather at Law Park to watch the MadCity Ski Team practice and take in one of Madison’s most unique waterfront traditions.

The Mad-City Ski Team is a family-friendly nonprofit water ski show team dedicated to building skill, teamwork, and community connection through performances and events. 

One of our own members, Brooke Hanson, is part of the team, making this an especially meaningful way to close out the evening.
